Hi, I'm Josef, a designer from Transylvania now based in sunny Spain. With 5 years of academic design studies and years of building things that matter, I currently work fully remote at SaphirSolution as a Senior UX/UI & Brand Designer, creating digital products and web experiences for brands that want more than just a nice look.
I love palm trees, exploring the world, and when I’m not at the buttons, you’ll find me lifting iron or burning rubber at the karting track.

Why are you making a career change?
To focus on creative opportunities that align with my personal vision and long-term growth. I’m looking for a full remote or hybrid position, where I can contribute with both skills and perspective, not just execution.

What do you bring to the table?
I bring structure, clarity, and visual instinct. I connect ideas with execution and help keep the creative process focused, organized, and aligned.
What's your academic background?
I hold a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Design from the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca. My focus was on product and graphic design, developed between 2017 and 2022.
Did you follow any further education?
Yes. I completed a UI/UX Professional Certified Course accredited by EAHEA at Webcase Community, and a Graphic Design Licentiate at IT Step Computer Academy. Both were completed between 2022 and 2023.
Any relevant certifications?
I’m certified in Psychopedagogy (Level 1 & 2), 3DS Max Architectural Visualization (Autodesk/Ilbah), and hold the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL Profile).
What tools do you use in your workflow?
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Figma, Webflow, WordPress and various AI tools integrated into daily creative processes.
What languages do you speak?
Romanian and Hungarian – native, English and German – B2, Spanish – B1. Enough to switch comfortably depending on the context.
What are your salary expectations?
My current expectation is in the range of 50.000 to 55.000 EUR per year in a full remote setup. I’m looking for a role that reflects my level of experience and the value I bring across design, strategy, and execution.
